Before and After: Upper Metal Partial Denture This patient needed a replacement for their worn upper partial denture, which featured a visible metal clasp that compromised aesthetics.The updated design not only improved the appearance by revealing more of the patient’s natural teeth but also minimised metal clasp coverage, making it less noticeable.The result is a functional and discreet solution that enhances the smile’s overall aesthetics by creating a more youthful appearance. Before and After: Complete Denture Set This patient needed a full upper and lower denture to replace their old set that had worn teeth, and the lower teeth were also not visible.The final dentures were crafted with precision, including a small diastema (gap) between the upper central teeth to match their original smile before they had dentures. The result is a functional and aesthetically pleasing set of dentures, that follows the curve of their smile, designed for comfort and confidence. Before and After: Complete Denture Set This side-by-side comparison highlights the transformation from the patients old, worn, and discoloured dentures to a completely redesigned set. The patient expressed a desire for a more youthful and natural appearance.The new dentures feature a brighter shade and a subtle diastema (gap) between the two front teeth, replicating the unique characteristic of their natural smile. The design not only restores aesthetics, but also ensures better visibility of the lower teeth, and minimises the appearance of the pink gum between the teeth, for a balanced and refreshed appearance. The shape of the dentures are also contoured nicely to fit the shape of their gums.Below you can see the previous denture had significant wear, with the teeth flattened and the natural anatomy lost. It was in dire need of replacement to not only restore its aesthetic appearance but also to improve functionality, particularly the ability to eat with greater ease and power with the new sharper teeth.
